Had a great day with 10 year old Sydney and her Grandpa and Grandma from Ohio on Friday. She boated 2 really nice Steelhead after loosing the first one right behind the boat. Our hearts all sank after a fifteen minute fight and the steely spit the hook just before Dylan could net it. Sydney was a trouper and was not about to let the next two get away. With just a little help from grandpa she fought them to the net. In just 26 feet of water on a three color with an orange spoon. After the two fish we took one more pass in front of the channel and decided to pull lines and cruise the beach and channel. Great times and we hope to see Sydney and family again on the Evolution.
